A tribute book for evacuees
All About Me
A book written in rhymes as a tribute to evacuees, depicting the inner world of a boy who has been displaced from his home, struggling with a storm of emotions, difficulties, and longing for the landscape of his home. Throughout the book, the boy deals with his feelings and gradually improves his mood through guided imagery and a game included in the story.
The book has undergone linguistic editing and illustration and will soon be launched as a digital file available for free to displaced children. The book will be accompanied by stickers and a map for placing stickers of half-full cups—part of the book's message, which promotes positive psychology.
The book was featured in an exhibition at the Ramat Gan Theater, curated by Dr. Aviv Dali, titled "My Nature," which ran throughout August. The book received extensive coverage in the Maariv local newspapers and other websites.
